There is no better place to put information about Faye's Seiyuu, Megumi Hayashibara. Hayashibara is one of Japan's greatest and most popular voice actresses and J-pop sensations.
This section will include some statistics, fun facts, and links to sites around the web about
Hayashibara.

To start off, Megumi has done several roles in the anime industry. Some of her most popular roles include Ayanami Rei (Evangelion), Lina Inverse (Slayers), Hello Kitty, Ranma-chan, Catgirl Nuku Nuku, Lime
(Saber Marionette J), Tira Misu (Bakeretsu Hunters), Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop), and Haruka (Love Hina).

In Cowboy Bebop, she acted only one voices: Faye Valentine

Megumi was born in Tokyo March 30th, 1967. She's an employee of Arts Vision and is a member of groups DoCo and Ties.

On her birthday in 1998 she was married.
Before her singing career, Hayashibara studied to become a nurse. However, a twist of fate changed that ambition.

While visiting her sick father in a hospital, she picked up a tankubon of manga and saw an ad for a voice acting company. Against her family's wishes, she attended the school.

She achieved success, fame, fortune, and something tells me her family doesn't mind that she is not a nurse. ^^
