Series and Movie Director: Shinichiro Watanabe

Before Cowboy Bebop, Shinichiro Watanabe directed Macross Plus with Shouji Kawamori. In the Session 0 interviews, he said he wanted to create a completely new world with Cowboy Bebop; its enormous popularity suggests that he succeeded.

Series and Movie Music Composer: Yoko Kanno

In addition to scoring the music for Cowboy Bebop, Yoko Kanno has worked on a number of other anime series and movie soundtracks, including Macross Plus, Escaflowne (with Hajime Mizoguchi), Please Save My Earth (also with Mizoguchi), Earth Girl Arjuna, Card Captor Sakura, Turn-A Gundam, Brain Powered, and Memories. She plays piano for Mizoguchi's Jin-Roh soundtrack as well as Maaya Sakamoto's J-Pop albums (which she also produces).

Spike: Kouichi Yamadera

Kouichi Yamadera was born on June 17th, 1961, and has blood-type A. His other voice-acting roles include Falgo in Bubble Gum Crisis, Kaji in Evangelion, Captain Harlock in Harlock Saga: The Ring of the Nibelung, Kibagami Juubei in Ninja Scroll, and Meros in Run! Meros.

Jet: Unshou Ishizuka

In addition to voicing Jet Black, Ishizuka provides the narration for Berserk, and the voices of Fujiwara Bunta in Initial D, Galde Goa Borman in Macross Plus, Professor Orchid (Professor Oak) in Pocket Monsters (Pokemon), and B.D. Neon in Trigun.

Faye: Megumi Hayashibara

Megumi Hayashibara is without a doubt the most prolific and talented voice actress in Japan. Some of her numerous roles include Pai in 3x3 Eyes, Tira Misu in Sorcerer Hunters, Tomoko in DNA^2, Rei, Yui, and Pen Pen in Evangelion, Kitty in Hello Kitty, Haruka in Love Hina, Lucy in Macross Plus, Musashi (Jessie) in Pocket Monsters (Pokemon), Sasuke in Ponpoko, Ranma in Ranma 1/2, and Ai in Video Girl Ai. Hayashibara is also an accomplished singer, and has sung for a wide number of shows including Love Hina and Evangelion.

Ed: Aoi Tada

Ed is Aoi Tada's first anime voice-acting role (she has since voiced Terriermon in Digimon); before her work on Cowboy Bebop, she provided the voice of Maggie in the Japanese dub of Spielberg's Hook. She was born on July 3 and has blood type O.

Vincent: Tsutomu Isobe

Tsutomu Isobe has extensive theater experience, having performed lead roles in, among other plays, Shakespeare's Hamlet and As You Like It. He has live-action film and television experience, and has provided voices for big-name Hollywood actors (including but not limited to Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, and Harrison Ford) in Japanese dubs. Unless I'm wrong in my research, Vincent is his first anime voice-acting role.

Electra: Ai Kobayashi

As a lead actress in the Team Happo Bizin troupe, Ai Kobayashi also has theater experience, but unlike Isobe, she has a handful of anime roles under her belt, including Lili in Turn-A Gundam.

Rasheed: Mickey Curtis

Mickey Curtis is a singer, music producer, comedian, and actor. He is versed in English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, and Thai, and has appeared in movies including Kamikaze Taxi and Swallowtail Butterfly. His role as Rasheed is his first anime voice-acting job.
