Faye Valentine: the evasive, sexy, shoot-'em-down babe in tight yellow hotpants. Not your average Bounty Hunter, is she?

Faye Valentine is known to have a large debt upon her head. She is rumoured throughout the known galaxy for her skills at cheating at poker and blackjack. She is also very persuasive and very manipulative, though it is due to her survival insticts. Faye Valentine is very independent, and although she lives on the Bebop, she often goes on her own personal missions, or to capture a bounty before Spike or Jet even know about it.

Faye often finds herself in trouble which she can't always get out of, so it is usually up to Spike, and sometimes Jet, to fish her out.

Faye's hobbies are tormenting Ein ruthlessly — she even eats his last can of dog food right in front of him! Yuck! And she usually lazes around the Bebop doing no chores and contributing nothing, in traditional squatter style.

Faye knows nothing about her past and is running from debt collecters. It is my impression that she is searching for her past while trying to pay for the present.

Whether it be on the Bebop, or somewhere in space on an adventure, you're sure to find a spark of comedy and life in just about any scene with Faye Valentine.

From the Bandai DVD: Faye Valentine is a bounty huntress. Her entire past is veiled in mystery; her age and place of birth are unknown or unclear. An alluring figure, good looks, and an unstoppable mouth are her greatest weapons. She is an auudacious and fearless egotist, uutterly pragmatic, she is pushy and resilient no matter what the situation. Gambling is her hobby: cheating her specialty. In a world where money is everything, she has no scruples about doing whatever it takes to get by.

Faye gives free reign to her desires and doesn't let particulars bother her. She freely divulges that she has a massive debt - one which is into astronomical figures. Faye is an indomitable figure, on occasions taking an aggressive or threatening attitude, who tries to get a lot of enjoyment out of life. She is also a capable markswoman. The body of her spaceship, Red Tail, a model used for military patrols and by various planetary law-enforcement forces, is fully-outfittedoutfitted with an array of weapons.

A lady too hot to handle, even her innocent, almost child-like smile can appear palpably dangerous on occasion. There are also times, however, when she reveals a lonesomeaspect to her character, as she searches for her unknown past, a past that money cannot buy.
