Faye is only seen in The 26 sessions of Cowboy bebop with 2 weapons;
a Glock model 30 and a Heckler and Koch MP5K
In this second screenshot from session 26, you can make out the
words: 30, Austria .45 (this is much clearer
in a full size picture)
The Glock 30 is a compact mode pistol designed for concea/carry
purpoises. The model 30 is chambered for .45 ACP (automatic
colt pistol). One of the only other real .45 pistols you see
throughout CB, are the ones carried by Julia (govt. 1911 colt)
The Glock model 30 has a Steel slide and a polymer frame (basically
plastic) to make it even lighter. This is signature Glock
construction. Because the pistol is so compact, the
bottom of the magazine is actually 1/4 of the handle for the shooter
to hold on to.
I have personally fired the model 30 and can honestly say
i don't like it at all. The lightweight and smallness of the
pistol is extremely offset by the high recoil from the .45 discharge.
The only other firmarm carried by Faye Valentine is in session 3
"Honkey Tonk Woman," at the very beginning. She
pulls out a Heckler and Koch MP5K. The K is abbreviated for
"Kurz," the German word for Short.
The MP5K is a submachinegun (meaning it fires pistol rounds) or
even a Machine pistol (to be fired with one hand) and is chambered
for 9mm. Heckler and Koch actually manufacters the ISSP standard
issue USP... also carried by Gren in session 13.
The MP5 series Submachine guns were actually modefied from the
original G3 series assault rifiles you see carried by the members
of the red dragon during Viscious's Coup. The parts were shortened
and a delayed recoil affect makes this a venerable and accurate
personal defense weapon. Sorry to say, I have not fired this
weapon. That concludes Faye's weapons. Please feel free to
ask [stosh] any questions
