Honky Tonk Women
Faye Valentine is first met in this episode. In order to abolish
her impressive debt, Faye is blackmailed by a casino owner to work
for him and obtain an information microchip concealed in a poker
chip. It is her mistake that Spike is the man she is supposed to
get it from. When she runs off after Spike, the man who blackmailed
her places a bounty on her head. It is this bounty which basically
links Faye to the Bebop. The end of this episode finds Faye escaping
the Bebop.
Gateway Shuffle
Faye runs out of gas and makes her home back on the Bebop. After
being captured, along with Twinkle Murdoch, Faye waits for her chance
to escape. She ends up helping Spike and Jet chase after the terrorists
with their Monkey Business, but ends up running for her life from
hundreds of tiny guided missiles. This is the episode where she
makes her home on the Bebop.
Ballad of Fallen Angels
Faye goes after Vicious for a bounty and ends up being Vicious'
bait for Spike. She ends up calling Jet at the end of the episode.
Heavy Metal Queen
The Bebop crew are after an explosives expert for bounty and run
into VT - a trucker. In this episode, Spike, Faye, and VT are stuck
in an asteroid and it's up to Faye to maneuver and guide a vial
of explosive liquid into Spike's escape capsule so the three of
them can escape alive.
Jamming with Edward
Faye cons Edward into giving the Bebop crew information about the
mysterious carvings in the side of the earth in exchange for a place
on the Bebop.
Toys in the Attic
Something's stalking the Bebop crew. Faye is a victim to the attack
of a bacterial infection!
Jupiter Jazz
Faye steals the money from the Bebop safe and flees to one of Jupiter's
moons and drowns her sorrows in a bar. The town which Faye flees
to is unusual: there are no women here. She meets a man named Gren,
and runs away with him when attacked by a group of ruffians. She
sits and talks with him, and learns his secrets.
Bohemian Rhapsody
Someone is stealing money from gateway tolls, and it's up to the
Bebop-gumi to find out who. Faye, Jet, and Spike all collect chess
pieces and find out that the mastermind behind it all goes by the
name of Chessmaster Hex. Faye and Spike go to investigate a run
down junkyard and find out who the mysterious Chessmaster really
is.
My Funny Valentine
Faye runs into an old flame from her past. In this episode, we learn
about Faye's life when she is woken up by deep sleep. Is she really
who she thinks sie hs? What are these memories she holds? Was the
man she really loved really in love with her?
Mushroom Samba
Faye gets high on mushrooms.
Speak Like a Child
A strange package arrives for Faye, but is COD. She flees when she
finds out she has even more to pay, so Spike and Jet open the package:
a tape. Since there is no technology to play such a thing, they
go on a hunt and find an old tape player. A working tape player
arrives in the mail again, and they sit down to watch it without
letting Faye watch. It is a tape from her shouded past...
Pierrot le Fou
Faye attempts to rescue Spike from a suicide mission, but ends up
being trapped in rubble inside of the Red Tail.
Cowboy Funk
While on the hunt for a bounty called "The Teddy Bomber",
Spike runs into another bounty hunter named Andy. The bounty gets
away, and the Bebop gumi goes to a masquerade party on a lead. The
Teddy Bomber blows up the room, and Faye runs off with Andy. After
finding out that he is a jerk, she and Jet finally team up to capture
the Teddy Bomber while Spike dukes it out with Andy.
Brain Scratch
Faye joins a cult in an attempt to crack the secret behind Brain
Scratch. Unfortunately, she is almost brainwashed in the process.
Hard Luck Woman
Faye and Ed go on an adventure to see about Faye's past. We learn
more about Edward and run into an old friend of Faye's.
The Real Folk Blues
Faye meets the mysterious woman from Spike's past, Julia, and is
sent home after a firefight to give the message to Spike.
